Lectio Divina is an ancient monastic way of praying the Scriptures. Come learn how to listen with the ear of your heart and allow the Word of God speak to you. Lectio Divina opens us up to discover the interior life and incrementally brings us to a deeper intimacy with God. Reflection on God’s Word, imprints the Word on one’s heart and slowly changes our attitudes and how we respond to daily life. The transforming power of Lectio Divina frees us from our falsity and over time we are shaped into the word of God we were created to be!
A commissioned presenter with Contemplative Outreach, Therese Coen, will present the Introductory Lectio Divina Workshop. If interested in attending, please reserve a place by registering with Mark Miskulin (775) 771-5889. Coffee and tea will be provided, however please bring something to share. The workshop is provided free of charge.
