National Catholic Schools Week: January 28 - February 3, 2024

Help celebrate our Catholic School Students! Our school students will have special activities, themes and events all week long, including charitable works to create awareness and generate excitement around our schools.
On February 1st, Bishop Mueggenborg will be celebrating Mass at St. Rose of Lima with our high school students and 8th grade students.

This week is a great time to encourage students when they show their love for our schools! Look to your church and school for more information.

This post will be updated as we confirm details and share the moments in the schools!

St. Albert the Great Catholic School:
Hygiene Drive – Collecting hygiene items to support St. Vincent’s in their mission to serve those in need in our community.

Monday – Celebrate our Community – Disney/Pixar Day

Tuesday – Celebrate Our Faculty, Staff, and Volunteers – Country vs. Country Club

Wednesday – Celebrate our Nation – Crazy sock/slipper day

Thursday – Celebrate Vocations – Twinning

Friday – Celebrate our Students – Sports team/jersey day

St. Clare’s Catholic School:

Monday – Thursday: In honor of St. Clare’s love of the poor, we kick off the week with a school-wide blanket, coat, sock and toiletries drive for the needy in our area.
Monday: Crazy Sock and Hair Day (students wear regular uniforms but add some flair with a silly pair of socks and/or a crazy hair style!)
Tuesday: In honor of St. Clare’s love of our Lord in the Eucharist, we’re participating in a school-wide day of adoration. School Spirit Day – P.E. uniforms.
Wednesday: Upper Elementary and Adolescent students serve breakfast to the poor at Kings Beach Methodist Church. Wacky Wednesday – things get a little mixed up as students dress as teachers and teachers dress as students!
Thursday: School Mass & Community Service Day – students participating in our weekly school-wide mass and spend time sorting and packaging donation items for our drive as well as learning about our patron saint.
Friday: Student Appreciation Day: Pajama Day and Pizza ParAr.
