I’m happy to announce we recently accepted a new seminarian for our great diocese! 

Deacon Francis Coyne is from Reno and a graduate of Bishop Manogue High School. Francis earned a BA in psychology and theology from Franciscan University of Steubenville, Ohio. He then spent twelve years in religious life: six as a missionary, and six as a monk. He completed his seminary formation at St Patrick’s Seminary in Menlo Park, California, and was ordained a transitional deacon on August 8, 2020. He began working as parish administrator at Our Lady of Wisdom Newman Center in June this year.
