About Walk To Mary:

On October 9, 1859, the Holy Mother appeared to Adele Brise on the site of the Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help in Wisconsin and gave her this message

“Gather the children in this wild country and teach them what they should know for salvation. Teach them their catechism, how to sign themselves with the sign of the Cross, and how to approach the sacraments; that is what I wish you to do.”

On December 8, 2010, The Most Rev. David L. Ricken, Bishop of Green Bay, determined it to be ‘worthy of belief’, that the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to Adele Brise.

On August 15, 2016, The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops declared Champion a ‘National Shrine,’ by formal decree, distinguishing ‘The National Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help’ as the first and only Catholic Shrine in America with a Church-approved Marian Apparition Site.

Adele Brise never swayed from her mission to teach the children the Catholic faith, no matter the hardship. She carried the messages of salvation, healing and grace on the back of her perseverance. This awe-inspiring determination continues to captivate the faithful.
